Michael Banim (1796-1874) with his brother John wrote a popular series of "national tales" under the pseudonym "O'Hara," This is a Very Good copy of a Later Printing of the First Edition.The binding matches that of the 1866 issue; Quercus presumes that Banim's death prompted reissue in 1875. Bright green decorative binding, blindstamped, with gilt lettering on the spine. Clean and bright text; 412 pages. A bit loose; the hinges have partially cracked.
