New York: The Century Company, 1922. (Brian Oswald) Donn Byrne (1889-1928) was born in America, but grew up in Ireland and was a native speaker. He was prolific, and his romantic novels became quite popular before his premature death in an automobile accident. This is a Very Good copy of the Second Printing (identified by the dustjacket) of the First Edition. Bright orange binding, stamped and filled with black. Clean text; 393 pages. The front hinge is cracked, but holding strongly; else a Fine copy. The dustjacket is complete; spine and margins are faded, with a few small chips. The rear flap has been folded at some time past, and a crease remains. In an archival plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7" - 9" tall. Later Printing. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Very Good. Dust jacket present.
