This is a Near Fine copy of the First Edition. Uncommon to scarce. Maroon ribbed cloth binding with gilt lettering on the spine and front cover. Clean text; xxxix, 532 pages, with four pages of adverts in the rear for Curtin's other works. Top edge is gilt, others rough-cut. A solid copy, and of interest today. Size: 8vo - over 7" - 9" tall.
