New York, Boston, Cincinnati, and Atlanta: Union Publishing House, 1880. First published in 1877, and "Sold Only by Subscription." This is a Very Good (Plus) to Near Fine copy of a Later Printing. Not common. Blue cloth decorative binding, ruled in black. The front cover features a color tipped-in lithograph of a demure maiden, one who has, no doubt, read the book and taken it to heart. Clean text; 352 pages, with eight pages of publisher's adverts in the rear, along with an offer of employment as a publisher's agent. Included are topics such as removing stains. A charming book, and a great example of Victorian concern with propriety and manners. What's not to like? Some very mild bumping and a hint of rubbing. Size: 8vo - over 7" - 9" tall. Later Printing.. Decorative Cloth. Very Good Plus/No Jacket.
