Edited anonymously by "A Member of the New York Bar," records the celebrated wit and oratory of Sheil (1791-1851) and Curran (1750-1817), popular and famed Irish nationalists. This is a Very Good copy of the First Edition. Scarce. Green cloth binding with gilt lettering, still very bright. Minor bumping and a small discoloration midway on thew front panel. Penciled previous-owner name (dated 1890) on FFEP, hardly visible on the brown endpapers. Text is fresh, bright, and still supple. There is a small numbrered label on the foot of the spine; possibly a library number, but the book has no other library markings. No dustjacket; in an archival plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First Edition.. Decorative Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. First Edition.
