Tralee: Anvil Books, 1964. One of the most famous narratives, originally published in 1924, of the guerilla was against England that resulted in Irish freedom. A scarce title in any edition. This is a Near Fine copy of the First Edition Thus, a Revised and Expanded version. Softbound (pocket-book size) with a strikingly illustrated front cover. Very minor edgewear, tiny corner crease. In an archival plastic protector. Size: 12mo - over 6" - 7" tall. First Thus. Soft Cover. Near Fine/No Jacket. First Edition.

Dublin Talbot Press 1924 First Edition. Hardcover Very Good Plus No Jacket 
Dublin: Talbot Press, 1924. Dan Breen (1894-1969) wrote one of the most famous memoirs of the Revolution and Civil War in Ireland; although it has been reprinted in recent years, it remains uncommon in the earlier printings. This is a Very Good Plus copy of the First Edition. There is no publication date, but Irish publishers were sometimes inconsistant at this time, and bibliographers generally have the date as 1924. Introduction by Joseph McGarrity. Illustrated with several black and white photographs. Green cloth binding with blindstamping, filled with black. Mild wear to the margins, and the spine has faded to an olive color. There has been some bumping to the top panels. Clean text; 258 pages. No dustwrapper; in an archival plastic protector. Size: 12mo - over 6" - 7" tall. First Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good Plus/No Jacket. First Edition.
