London Victor Gollancz 1952 First Edition. Hardcover Fine Very Good
London: Victor Gollancz, 1952. Anglo-Irish Gaelic scholar and critic Percival Arland Ussher (1899-1980) was renowned for his wit combined with critical insight ("Thirty years ago, to praise James Joyce was an act of daring; today it needs an almost equal daring to criticise him."). Donleavy, and wrote the Introduction to the American edition of "The Ginger Man." This is a Fine copy of the Second Printing of the First Edition.
