New York: The Viking Press, 1953. The third published novel by the Canadian/American winner of the Nobel Prize (1976). This is a Very Good copy of the Book Club Edition; with printing date of September 1953 and printing by H. Wolff. Gray and black cloth binding, with lettering in red. Clean text; 536 pages. The corners are mildly bumped and there is some darkening around the upper margins. The dustjacket (which actually follows the First Edition points) has been price-clipped. It shows quite a bit of edgewear, with creasing and chipping, although the colors remain bright. In an archival plastic protector.. Book Club (BCE/BOMC). Hard Cover.
